what subjects should i pick for vce if im planning on doing social work/psychology in the future?

I'm in year 10 and ive got a general idea of subjects that i want to do: methods, general, psychology, englang, media and japanese -- but im not sure if these subjects are the right choices as 3 of them scale down. I'm currently doing year 11 psychology but have been persistently getting Cs and Ds, which makes me somewhat regret picking the subject, even though i am greatly interested in it. Can someone please give me some advice?
