I can’t tell if this product is too crowded to test

I’ve been looking at a foldable desk organizer shelf as a possible product idea. It’s for people working from home or living in small spaces who just want their desk to be less messy. I get why it might sell: it’s cheap, easy to source, and I’ve seen similar ones on TikTok and marketplaces.
The problem is there are already so many of them, and the reviews are not great: feels cheap, wobbles, doesn’t hold much, gets forgotten after a week.
I used a few AI tools to check trends and suppliers, but I’m still not sure. Would you skip this kind of product because it’s already crowded, or look at the bad reviews and try to make a better version? This is one of the ideas I’m considering for Co Create Pitch, so I’m trying not to talk myself into it just because it looks easy to source.
