Local man caught stealing a car, was beaten by deputies, and died from his injuries

This man was beaten severely by deputies and when they realized the injuries required him to be hospitalized, they just released him from custody and told EMS to take him to the hospital. He died yesterday from his injuries. He had severe mental health issues which was the primary cause of his criminal history, but no one deserves to be treated like that.
