Buying my first mac ever

Hello everyone! Im here to get a bunch of help deciding which mac i should buy. Im a windows user that is switching over to mac because of AI. Im an architect and I was tied up to windows exclusive software like d5 render. But then AI came along and now i do my 3d renderings with nano banana.

So ive wanted to switch to mac since forever and now im gonna do it except i dont wanna regret buying the wrong model. Ive done some research and i have narrowed down the options to the macbook pro m5 32gb RAM and the macbook pro m5 pro with 48gb RAM.

Currently I work residential projects between 400-600m2 with sketchup, archicad, photoshop, indesign and autocad. My current windows setup has 32gb of RAM and handles my daily tasks ok getting at most up to 27gb on heavy usage.

The thing is i dont know how macs behave RAM wise, do they consume more RAM? Is it an android vs iphone scenario where apple manages RAM much better and you need less of it?

The computer im buying im gonna lease for 36 months and I will most likely keep it and have it for another 4 years. So thats why i really dont want to mess up my selection.

(PD ofcourse more RAM is better i just dont want to overspend if i dont need to because its a considerable a price hike for myself)
