Is it possible to enter university with overseas Chinese quota after language school?
I'm from Myanmar and I have completed 12th grade this year and will turn 18 soon. I’m just starting to learn Chinese atm. Because I am of mixed blood ( 僑生 ), I could apply to NUPS (National University Preparatory School), but I don’t want to repeat high school. So instead, I’m thinking of attending the NTNU MTC language school next year first, then applying for a Chinese-taught university program.
After finishing language school, can I apply to university as an overseas Chinese student (僑生)? Also, would I be eligible for scholarships related to overseas Chinese status?
I want to study Software Engineering. Would finding a job in that major be manageable in Taiwan?
