UK visitor visa for spouse - misunderstood a question help

My partner applied for a visitor visa to visit me in the UK for 7 days. He is a student (doing german language course due to start in 2 months time) and he gets social government payments/job center payments as he is unwell. He did his biometrics today but we realized we have missed a question in the form. We selected student in the question instead of employed. There was another question which said Do you have any other income? and we said no. it also asked what his daily expenses are and we added that as per bank statements showing incoming money from the state and the expenses. but now reading reddit i think we made a mistake and should have selected yes for any other income. we thought that question meant income from employment. After submission, we realised their submitted bank statement shows regular German social support/Jobcenter payments.

The trip does not rely on those payments because the UK sponsor is covering all costs.

Biometrics are already done.

Would you:

1. Send UKVI a short clarification?
2. Leave it because the payments are visible on the bank statement?
3. Withdraw and reapply?
