Small theory

Just thought what if when the entity pirate bit real Clark its because Clark was talking about you can eat the entitys and he normalised it and hadn't seen pirate Clark since so his mind uploaded that and thought eating him would be normal and wouldn't change anything and when Clark screamed he got scared and threw him (hope nobody's thought of this yet)
