Absolute beginner at Tekken/Fighting games pls help

I just want to get into a fighting game and have fun and I've learned that to get into any fighting game just find a character you like so I picked Yoshimitsu.

Now I can't even get past combo challenge 2 and I cant play online so I need any kinds of tips (Different button inputs might help too since I play on PS5)
