What does account no longer available mean in chat message?

I was conversing with someone in a chat and then all of a sudden I see their profile avatar in the chat change to a purple color and it says “account no longer available” under their avatar.
I am still able to view their profile and look at their comment history.
So I don’t think I’m blocked. Is it because they deleted the chat or did something else on their end?
