10 Pro lower quality glass?

I had a 2XL and a 7 and they were incredible phones. I never had any issues. I got this 10 pro a few months ago and went hiking last week. I don't know if my son set the phone down on a rock or if the keys in my pocket scratched it, but the glass got some very shallow scratches.

I'm sure that I'll get a lecture about how you shouldn't put your phone in your pocket with your keys or at least use a screen protector. The amazingness of my previous pixel phones made me a bit careless with the glass. I was so hard on them and they never got scratched.

Has anyone noticed a decrease in the hardness of the glass? By the way, I have a glass protector now on the phone I learned my lesson.
