We were roommates. I tended to keep to myself, though I had cared for you rather kindly when you'd come down with that nasty virus a while back. I spent plenty of time in our apartment, but enough away from it that you wouldn't have considered me a shut in, either.

Funny thing- you'd never actually actually figured out what I did for work, even after two years living with me. I sold something on Etsy and a few other sites, but you hadn't seen any particular movement of physical goods into or out of my room, and I didn't appear to own a drawing tablet for any digital art.

I did use a lot of chalk, but how I would sell that was entirely beyond you.

Then one day, I got bored of you, and decided to secretly turn you into an anthropomorphic cow. There was no malice behind this decision, no particular rhyme to it at all. You'd been a decent roommate, but I wanted something with hooves instead of fingers that mooed as much as talked, with a milky udder and nice black and white splotches in that classic cowprint pattern.

The spell would take about a week to take hold, and you'd never be human again. At least your roommate was being awfully nice about the whole thing.
