Using a digital drop pedal on bass.

Hey guys,

My band currently plays one song that hits a low C so at the moment I’m bringing my 5 string along for one song. I use a HXStomp and I know it has the polycapo block. Does it sound okay on the bass? If I drop 4 semitones? Or tune to drop D and then polycapo down 2 semitones?

When I play at home I think I’m also hearing the note from my physical playing it sounds awful. I haven’t had time to fully test through a PA.
