I was wondering, was it just luck or is it common for level 2/3 autistic people to be into preschool shows?
I've always wondered because I'm level 2/3 and I mainly love preschool shows even at 25 and I remember when I was at school, I would see level 2/3 kids really into preschool shows. I can't fully remember, but I remember Sesame Street, Arthur (this one is aimed at both preschool and elementary school kids), Bear in the Big Blue House, Thomas and Friends, The Wiggles and LazyTown being ones. Some of the level 2/3 autistic people I knew were more into preschool shows than big kids shows it felt like, even when they were around 10 or 11.
I often wonder if I just had random luck or if there are several level 2/3 people out there who love preschool shows a lot.
I sometimes wonder if I'm the only adult who prefers preschool shows to adult shows like say, South Park and Family Guy for example, which are aimed at my age group. I personally don't like South Park and Family Guy that much, even though many adults love them because of how they have a lot of depth to their comedy and they go into mature themes.
