Hey everyone,

I'm a student developer from India, and I recently finished building my first major side project: Flow—a privacy-focused website blocker and productivity tracker.

I uploaded it to Firefox Add-ons last week, and I got my first **5 downloads and hit 5 daily active users**. Seeing the graph spike on my developer dashboard was the best feeling ever! (I've attached my stats screenshot).

But since then, the growth has completely flatlined. I'm stuck at these 5 users.

My goal is to reach my first **100 users**, but I have zero budget for ads and zero marketing experience.

# My questions for you:

1. **How do I get organic traffic on the Firefox Add-ons store?** How can I optimize my extension's title, description, and tags so that people searching for focus tools on Firefox can easily find it?
2. **Is Product Hunt worth it?** Should a solo developer launch a free browser extension on Product Hunt, or is it too competitive?
3. **Where should I share this?** What are the best communities or subreddits to share a tool meant for students and study focus without getting banned for spam?

I would love any advice or feedback on the dashboard design or the concept!

Got my first 5 users on Firefox for my side project, but now growth is dead. How do I reach 100 users as a student developer?
