Steam deck performance tips?

Since the new update came out and the game was on sale I bought it a second time for my PC and since it was one of the top games played in the Steam deck I figured it’d be great. But man the performance is really kinda trash. Game feels hitchy and the picture quality is pretty rough. I haven’t messed with setting in game or on the deck.

Anyone find some solid settings that have been working? Thanks!
