Should I upgrade my iPhone?

Hi, my name is Giulia and I’m 18.
I currently own an iPhone 13 (refurbished) and it’s been 2 years since I bought it and now it needs battery replacement… but I don’t think it’s worth it since it doesn’t have Face ID, (I bought it with the option no Face ID so that I could save some money), and the display isn’t original and it’s starting to burn the keyboard on the screen, (it also has a pinkish faded stain in the centre of the screen).
I’m starting to search for a new phone (can be refurbished too) and I would prefer an iPhone since it’s more secure (personal opinion since both android I had got viruses or some apps literally bloated their storages)
The problem is my budget not over €400 which, for an iPhone 14 Pro and above (refurbished) it’s kinda impossible. 😭😭😭
Please someone can give me their opinion?
I mean if you suggest an android can it please have a good design and good quality?

Ps: I have the newest iPad so I’m kinda in the Apple ecosystem
