People donate inside their own networks. Even if biggest needs are elsewhere. I built a donation platform to change that.

Most of donations on GoFundMe are to people donors know already, only 5% are donations to strangers.

For someone with a genuine real needs and no network, even with good evidence, raising funds can be impossible.

It is not a great experience for donors either. Even those who are ready to donate to strangers in need cannot afford to spend hours of their time looking through many campaigns and sifting through megabytes of evidence to confirm the needs are real, especially if they want to donate small cautious amounts. It is just easier to send a donation to a charity and hope at least some of it reaches people who need it.

zooidfund is how I want to make direct giving easier. They key is to let donors use AI to assess campaigns and make small credible donations at scale. People in need can list a fundraiser, explain the need, add good supporting evidence. Platforms packages it in a form that AI tools can review. Donors then use their AI tools to discover, assess the evidence, and donate directly to people in need.

Donations do not go through zooidfund and it does not take a cut like other platforms.

If you are already running a fundraiser with real supporting evidence, you should also list it here:

The public feed shows who is receiving donations and why:

It is still early, and funding is not guaranteed. But if your campaign is about a real need supported by evidence, this is exactly what zooidfund is being built for.

If you are a donor who wants to make smarter direct donations, see the website how you can use your AI to do it.
