needed a safe space to vent... Is it just me, or is it actually impossible to find genuine female friends in Marrakech?

I try so hard to be nice, but every time I try to bond with girls here, I just feel like I don't fit in at all. All they seem to care about is going to upscale places, talking about drama, or spending hours taking the perfect Instagram aesthetic photo... and I'm just sitting there feeling like an alien.

I guess I'm just too low-maintenance? I don't care about makeup or high-society gossip. I'd literally rather spend my time playing video games, blasting heavy metal, or just talking about vintage cars and underground culture... I honestly get along with guys so much better because they're just chill and zero drama, but I still wish I had that one loyal girl bestie, you know?

It's just so exhausting being the "weird, awkward girl" who'd rather go on a messy bike ride than sit in a fancy café. I feel like nobody here actually values real, deep conversations anymore.
