Am I not meeting qualifications to work at a hospital?

About a month ago I applied for the position of EVS Tech which is a housekeeper, got a interview the day later and it went very good and the interviewer hoped I get the job.

2 weeks later I called HR and they told me they emailed and said my application was rejected. I replied ok and thank you for your time then hanged up.

A month later I applied for another position for Snack Bar attendant and 2 days later I get emailed saying I was rejected but this time they said they will contact me if my application meets future opportunities.

I worked in housekeeping for 2 years, worked a snack bar to so i'm not sure what i'm missing to be qualified to do these kind of jobs. Do hospital require certain skills or something?
