offer made status

hey, so I just got the acceptance letter yesterday. They told me to get on the portal and accept the offer, but when I got in the portal they told me to wait till after 8 pm. till now there are no email, should I wait until it's after 8 pm for today or go and ask during the offer holders event tomorrow or just accept the offer anyways.
