OBS can't detect MS Teams Audio

i realised OBS couldn't detect audio coming from Microsoft Teams app, even though application audio capture is pointed at the app. for context, i like to isolate audio sources so that OBS doesn't capture stray audio, and i have disabled Desktop Audio (by default it isn't disabled).

i found the following solutions. Feel free to chip in other solutions that you have tried and tested, as i don't find many forums discussing about this issue.

solution 1: Elgato Wave Link

1. i have elgato wave link, and i made MS Teams to output audio to wave link voice chat
2. insert an audio input capture source in OBS, and point it to wave link voice chat

solution 2: Use a browser for MS Team meetings instead of the app

1. insert an application audio capture source in OBS and point it to the browser that has the meeting opened

solution 3: Use the good old Desktop Audio

1. i thought that if without elgato wave link or other softwares, this is the only solution. say good bye to listening to music or watching YouTube during meetings
