On being strung along

Company was really rushing interviews and after the first two rounds asked me if was available the next day. Didn't hear from them until late evening after the final interview which was already suspicious. The next day I was told they were interviewing one other candidate and they'd let me know by the end of the week. On Friday they told me the other person's interview had been rescheduled and they'd let me know in Monday. It's now Tuesday and it has been radio silence until now.

I suspect they made an offer on Friday, the candidate got the weekend to think about it and is now dragging their feet while I'm immediately available, but unfortunately I was only the second choice. ​​
