Does anyone else struggle to manage years of medical records for their parents?

I'm helping my parents organize years of medical records, lab results, imaging reports, prescriptions, and doctor's notes.

The problem is that everything is scattered across different places:

• Hospital portals
• PDFs downloaded over the years
• Email attachments
• WhatsApp messages
• Paper documents in folders

Whenever a doctor asks for an old report, we end up spending far too much time searching for the right document.

The more I deal with this, the more surprised I am that there doesn't seem to be a simple, widely used solution for families.

I'm starting to think about building something to solve this problem for my own family, but before I invest time into it, I'd love to hear how others handle it.
