Magnetic keyboard no longer charges or works

I have a Huawei matepad pro 12.2, recently i took off the keyboard cover and used a different one. The keyboard then lost its charge..when i returned to using the keyboard cover a couple of days later, it would charge whatsoever and it wont charge the pen ethier..i tried cleaning, resetting it and such but it doesnt work, please help
