League; Separate tee boxes?

I'm looking for some advice and suggestions on playing multiple tee boxes in league play.

Our golf league is a mixture of HC's from 0 to upwards of 25. And for league, we all play the same (mens white) tee boxes.

But as some are older and don't have the distance, and then some are younger and can bomb the ball, we are thinking of allowing for separate tee boxes next year.

But some thoughts and issues we have are:

1. Pace of play. Separate tee boxes will probably slow it down some. We could end with a group of 4 playing 3 separate tee boxes on each hole.

2. Handicaps. Ensuring the correct slope/rating for your course HC based on tee box.

Doe anyone user separate tee boxes in their league and does it work ok?
