Lost access to my pre-order armor. Anyone got any ideas?

Ok so back when the game released I playyed for about 2 days until my mother had a heart attack so needless to say I put it down.

Yesterday I decided to fire the game up again and just restart because well its been 2 months. I fire up the game and start over. I get to hernand and there is no pre-order armor in the stash. I figured ok I haven't progressed far enough yet and just push forward. Well im getting ready to walking into the reed field for the reed devil boss fight and still no armor.

Did they really make the pre order stuff 1 time use only?
