[M4F] A moral dilemma

The gym was crowded, but Chris was in his own zone, focused on the steady rhythm of his workout. He was finishing up a set of reps, his mind drifting toward the weekend. He’d been feeling particularly lucky lately; his relationship was stable, work was going well, and he felt like he finally had his life on track. He wiped his face with a towel, his thoughts wandering to the vacation he was trying to book for him and his girlfriend - a trip he was hoping would be the highlight of their year.

As he headed towards the water station, he spotted her. It was his girlfriend's best friend, standing there very absent minded, her gym bag forgotten at her feet. 

Chris assumed she was just exhausted from a workout.

 He had no clue that the day, she’d caught his girlfriend with.another guy. She had begged  her to keep it quiet "just for a few days" so the girlfriend could figure out how to fix it. And as chance had it the only person she probably didn't want to see right now was just a few meters away

Chris approached her with a grin, "Whoa, you look like you just hit a wall. That spin class really that brutal today?" He laughed, leaning against the wall, completely unaware of the bomb she was sitting on. 

"Anyway, I'm glad I ran into you. I'm looking at flights for Greece as a surprise for her. You're her best friend, is she still obsessed with Santorini, or should I look at Crete instead?" He searched her face, waiting for her usual quick-witted advice, totally blind to the conflict raging behind her eyes.

In this setup, you are my girlfriend's best friend, and you’ve just witnessed her cheating on me. You’re under a lot of pressure to stay quiet, but then you run into me while I'm talking about our future.

You could tell me right away or maybe you see this as an opportunity as you always had some feelings for me as well.

I am also open to completely flip the roles.
