How do y'all deal with starting a job with complicated foreign architecture and almost 0 training

Experienced

This is my second dev job, the first one I was at for about 4 years and most of our projects were monolith crud apps, a clear frontend and backend, external API integration, clearly hosted databases we could query and work on easily. My new job has 1 other dev on my team who doesn't do c#, so our skill sets are pretty different. There's a variety of middleware projects that all work together, influxDB (first time using this sort of thing, so far I've done SQL based and mongoDB), grafana instead of an actual frontend, and weirdly limited local testing options.

I've been here 4 months and I feel so burnt out cause there was no one that could train me and they just had me talk to codex to learn how everything works between the 5 repos I work in, but the overall software contains many more repos that I don't work with.

Has anyone else dealt with a similar scenario before? I love learning but man if it feels like I'm just barely floating and I guess the imposter syndrome is kicking in hard and my motivation has just plummeted from the lack of training.

I'm learning more about how the projects work, but then I get a ticket that might as well be in a foreign language and once I get the work done I end up feeling like it was simpler than it first appeared, but took me way too long since it felt like I was playing a game I didn't know the rules or jargon too 🫩
