Weird gathering on my leg

F27, 185lbs, surgical history: right and left femur IMN, right tibia and fibula IMN, abdominal exploratory laparotomy, non smoker, meds: Zoloft 100mg daily, methocarbamol 750mg prn (usually no more than 4 times a month)

So back in April 2021, a stranger decided to almost kill me in a drunk driving accident. I was life flighted to a level 1 trauma center and immediately went into a 9 hours surgery.

Don’t worry, the guy who hit me was bailed out of jail by his mother before my mother had any update on my condition./s

Anyway, I had rods put into both femurs and my lower right leg. I went through months of PT and did everything you’re supposed to and I’m pretty much back to normal now (except for minor aches and pains/muscle spasms that hopefully won’t get worse as I age).

However, I noticed a few months afterwards that I have a weird ball on my left thigh. It’s completely squishy and doesn’t feel like there’s anything in that area like a cyst or cancer or anything. But it is always there. It looks like a fat roll when I’m sitting down and I am wearing shorts and I hate that.

I remember back in 2022 in one of my last visits with my ortho surgeon bringing it up and he didn’t know what it was.

Any ideas? If you do know, any ideas on getting rid of it?

It’s not letting me post a pic so pic in comments
