Creatine gummies vs powder does the form actually matter for absorption?
Been seeing more creatine gummies on the market lately and got curious about the science. Creatine can actually degrade into creatinine (the waste product, not the good stuff) in acidic or high-moisture environments which is the main formulation challenge with gummies compared to powder.
Powder is stable basically forever. Gummies are trickier pH, binding agents, and moisture content all affect whether you’re actually getting the dose on the label.
From what I’ve researched, the bioavailability is comparable if the gummy is formulated correctly. The convenience factor is real though adherence matters, and people are way more consistent when they actually enjoy taking something.
Has anyone here switched from powder to gummies? Curious whether you noticed any difference in results or just found it easier to stay consistent.
