Anyone remembers a teochew kueh seller in MacPherson area around 1980s or 1990s?
In the 1980s (and maybe 1990s), my father used to drive us to a HDB block in the MacPherson area (or nearby) to buy Teochew kuehs, mainly soon kueh and png kueh.
The auntie sold them out of a ground-floor HDB flat rather than a market or hawker stall. I remember my father would park by the roadside, run over to the unit (corner unit if I am not mistaken) to buy the kuehs, and come straight back.
Does this sound familiar to anyone and if anyone can share whether the second or third generation are still making and selling the kuehs?
Thanks in advance!
