Scattered communication or is it low interest?

Seeking Advice

I am 25M and I recently started speaking to someone through an arranged marriage setup.

We met once, exchanged Instagram and numbers, and have been talking for about a month. The conversations are usually warm when they happen. She shares things about her life, asks some questions, and we have had a couple of good chats and one call as well.

The confusing part is the communication pace. Texts are very scattered. Sometimes there are gaps of 2 to 3 days. Most of the time, I am the one restarting the conversation. She has had valid reasons recently, including work, travel, presentation, and some formalities. She also admitted that she is not great at texting and has not been able to give enough time to connect.

I am not expecting constant texting. I also understand arranged marriage setups can be slower and more cautious. But I do value some continuity when two people are trying to understand each other. When the communication becomes too scattered, I find it difficult to know whether this is just her natural pace, genuine busyness, or low interest.

She has suggested that calls may be better and I agreed but we haven't progressed there either, But I am trying to understand whether this level of communication is normal in early arranged marriage conversations, or whether I should treat it as a sign of low reciprocity.

For people who have been through arranged marriage setups, how normal is this? How much communication is reasonable initially? And how do you differentiate between a slow cautious pace and lack of interest?
