Smell in car.. water on passenger side

It a been two or three days of on-off rain and a small smell has been building in the car. Today i checked passenger carpet and the smell is coming from there, with a mild moist touch.

Ill be sealing the windshield scuttle grommets soon as it’s been reported that this issue remains common. However, are there other areas i should be looking into? Ill clean the drains in the back while im at it
