Mario Cristobal's engagement has reportedly been called off.

According to multiple reports surfacing from the Miami 247 boards and a corroborated account from a South Beach restaurant manager, Mario Cristobal's marriage proposal ended abruptly last night.

By all accounts, the evening was entirely secure. Dinner had concluded, the bill was settled, and Cristobal had a clear path to a successful night. At approximately 8:59 PM, he produced the ring box.

When explicitly prompted by his partner to take a knee, Cristobal flatly refused, stating that he intended to "execute the moment" from a standing position. Instead of simply handing her the ring, he tried to aggressively slide the box across the table to establish physical dominance. The box overshot the table, hitting the opposite edge and clattering onto the marble floor.
