Online crash courses worth doing?

Hello. I am a recent graduate of a fourth-class power engineering course in Southern Ontario. I want to begin a career in building maintenance/automation. Is a one- day BAS course (from think tech, CIET or another similar organization going to look good on my resume? Or would I be flushing $350-1k down the toilet?
