2yo lets dad put her to bed but freaks out if mom puts her in crib - help!
My (just turned 2yo) daughter is generally more attached and emotional with me than her dad. However she lets him put her to bed at night and for naps with no fuss - he sits with her a couple mins then leaves and she happily puts herself to sleep. If I try to put her down, she cries so hard she throws up. Sometimes just putting her in the crib triggers it. Other times she’ll go in but needs me to stand or sit right next to the crib and hold her hand. I can’t even cross the room to sit in the recliner. I know this is probably common and an attachment thing, but I’m also very pregnant and exhausted and need a solution for when my husband isn’t here to do it. Every once in a while she lets me leave no problem so I know she’s capable. We have a solid bedtime routine of bath, milk, books, cuddles, then bed. Except when I’m alone then it’s bath, milk, books, cuddles, tantrum. Any advice or ideas on how to get her more comfy with me putting her down are welcome. Thank you
