Can my direct deposit info be seen?

My husband's workday account was hacked and the hackers changed the direct deposit information on the account. While they were doing that, were they able to see the existing account information? Is our joint banking compromised?

My own company uses Namely and doesn't allow for direct deposit to be edited by the employee so I don't know about Workday. And he can't check right now because his access is frozen while they investigate.
