I fear my watch is coming to an end
Over the last few days, my dad has stopped eating and drinking with less ability to swallow liquid meds.
I think we will be moving on a syringe driver, if he doesn't improve soon.
There have even been slight changes in his breathing as well, all of which are pretty big indicators that he is coming nearing the end.
Those who've been through this process before, either losing a parent or dementia patient, do you have any advice?
All his medical side is sorted and the family are all here, but I just want to help him be comfortable in his final days.
