Contacts suddenly won’t fit in right eye

I’m 52 and have been wearing contacts since 22. For the past year, my right eye seems to feel irritated by the lens which will make me rub my eye which in turn scratches my eye, and then the contact will no longer fit well and moves in my eye. The contact in my right eye starts to feel uncomfortable after a week and they’re supposed to last me a month. Just wondering if anybody has experienced this? I have a slight astigmatism so I don’t know if it’s that? But I have astigmatism in my left eye also and don’t have issues in that eye.. or I wonder if maybe a daily lens would be better? I’m wearing Accu view oasis multifocal now.. I was having the same problem last year at my last eye exam. My eyes are healthy. I was thinking I just needed a thicker contact lens so I went from Acuvue 2 to the oasis multifocal but now I’m having the same problems again with just the right eye.
