trying to get diagnosed as a 14yo F uk

Diagnosis

I’m in the process of trying to get diagnosed because it runs in my family, and my sister didn’t get diagnosed till she was 26. I don’t like sharing i have undiagnosed adhd bc i feel like it’s disrespectful to the people who spend ages to get their diagnosis then get accused of faking it. My sister saw the symptoms, then we started the process in 2022, but I didn’t show symptoms in school. 2 months ago, I started showing them in school, so now I’m getting diagnosed again. Before, they said if the school sees nothing, then we can’t do anything.

Anyways, my point was that I wanted to ask about something I do because I don’t know if it’s a symptom. Basically, if there’s a word with the letters T or I in it, I kinda get stuck on it and can’t do anything till I look at the pattern.

Say it was “tortoise”; the pattern would be “T ti”. The T would be pronounced like the capital one, and the ti would be pronounced like the lowercase sounds. It’s kinda hard to explain because there are like rules.
