Is Platinum really that much better than Gold?

They advertise platinum level dashers get better offers and other perks. I have been dashing for a few weeks and got Platinum yesterday. I had about a 78% acceptance rating when I got bumped up to Plat. I dashed today and within the first 2 hours of dashing I was dropped down to Silver because I was getting terrible orders (less than .50 cents per mile) left and right. Then when I hit Silver I was getting the better offers I have been taking.

It just sucks I was excited for the Plat level only to get shit offers constantly and now I’m back down to Silver.
