This is such a beautiful scent that evokes quite a lot of emotions and memories for me. The burnt ceremonial incense and myrrh on a wet, rainy service at the church, with the cold walls echoing the choir. You want to have this fragrance build this cozy cocoon around you and just beI in this meditative state, quietly pondering over what you're life has become. I have nothing more to say because frankly, I am still enjoying this divine beauty. Strictly meant for cooler weathers and more of an intimate perfume rather than something you want to wear to make a statement.

This is supposedly inspired by the drawers of the sacristy of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. However, the first few sprays reminded me of boiled mung beans that is eaten with a rice water dish called "kanji" in my hometown. Letting the sprays settle on my skin, this turns into an unmistakable slightly sweet, rich, aromatic myrrh and incense that I have experienced in the services of local Oriental Orthodox churches. Half an hour into the sprays, I have come to appreciate a note that is evocative of wood being scraped at a carpenter's station, while simultaneously developing a headache too.
This is quite enjoyable if you are staying in cooler weathers. Would I wear it ? Nah. But I think this can be worn with a primary cold weather fragrance to add a smoky veil of mystery to your prescence.

The original bottle has this beautiful green shade which is what primarily attracted me to check out this scent. The fragrance in itself is a very very realistic mix of mainly jasmine with tuberose providing the backbone, which keeps getting richer as the minutes pass by and wading into pools of jasmine oil rather than floating in a patch of airy jasmine flowers. 30 minutes in, the scent has become a little powdery. 2 hours in, the fragrance has deceloped into, what I can only describe as something that is reminiscent of the oil that is used in Catholic churches for anointing on foreheads during special events.
However, I am not able to connect the evolution of the perfume with the green bottle nor the artistic description the perfumer has provided on his website.
