Star Citizen inventory is gaslighting me.

Since 4.8, among other bugs, SC has been "gaslighting" me.

I'll go to a place (like a PAF site or Onyx, or bunker), find something in a box (like leg armor) and put it in my inventory. I have r_displayinfo 2 on. I can see that it says no more moves are pending. I can see the item in my inventory (usually in my large backpack).

I finish the mission, I return to my ship, and open ship storage to put the leg armor I know I had, into the ship, and it's not in my personal inventory screen. It's not filtered, it's not somehow in a different container (I'm not looking at my core inventory while it's in my backpack for example), it's just gone....

Only it's not. If I go "oh well, sc is sc" and fly home, sometimes I'll get there and use a different inventory and, hey the legs are back. So, when it has happened again, I have alt f4 and restarted the client, and that also brings back the missing items.

You can't fool me, SC, I know I found those legs!

This is happening a LOT. multiple times per play session, with various locations, ships, and items. When the item is "missing" it also doesn't show up on the space consumed meter on the backpack. When it comes back, it does.

I've tried to find a good IC report for this, but good luck searching the IC for "item disappearing" or "loot disappearing" or "inventory not appearing" etc etc etc and trying to find an issue with these specific nuances. I've contributed to several reports I believe could represent this issue, but none explain it thoroughly.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Has anyone else found or made a really good *C report for this?
