Extended warranty
Hey everyone,
I’m about to pull the trigger on a 2022 BMW 330e xDrive from a dealership with 53,000 km.
The manufacturer’s warranty runs out in early July 2026.
Never owned a BMW before, but I saw a recent report saying BMW is the 3rd most reliable brand after Toyota and Lexus.
The dealer’s offering me a 4-year unlimited mileage extended warranty that covers pretty much everything for an extra $6,000.
Looking for your thoughts and experiences—should I go for it or skip it?
I’ve bought an extended warranty before (on a Chrysler) and never used it because the car had zero issues from 40k to 100k km. Worried I might make the same mistake again.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
P.S. I’m in Canada.
