BSN July start
Long story short I work full time during the day and due to medical reasons I have to have insurance, and getting certain things covered even with can be bothersome. I don’t live/work anywhere that I could work my full time job and also make it to an evening class anywhere as they all often start around 2/3. I have enrolled twice previously though local colleges and due to a breakup/move as well as an additional unexpected move I was only able to attend one semester at each of these colleges. I’m almost 30 and want to start a family. I have been a CNA for 8 years.
I am super impulsive in the way I do most things. I have accepted and approved my registration to be submitted for the July start BSN program. At the time I was first researching it, I didn’t find much. Now that school is starting in a month and I’m looking things up about books- I find out there’s a lot going on with Chamberlain.
SOMEONE tell me it’s going to be fine. The class schedule so far looks doable with work, and I am a *decent* test taker and have worked in the field for many years so I do have some basic education down that many others entering in might not. Not saying i’m a genius and I’m definitely still nervous. I also have a solid amount of tuition reimbursement through my work as well as financial aid so I am not *super* worried about the money.
Is this worth it for me? Am I making the right decision?
