Little life

Ive thrown in my hat
Ive seen my score
Lord take me now
For I have no more
It feels like ive been beaten by the devil
My heart feels sore
Ive been searching for my gold
But I am a fool just full of hope
That I could live for more.
So take me down
To my grave
And bury me alive
For when the sun rises
I will be dead and gone inside
Leave me alone
Leave me to die
For I am already dead
Or at least
That what it seems like
So burn me down
And toss me into the sea
For that will be the day
That I am finally free
Casue I got nothing left
I have very little will
So I pray
That the Lord will do
All that I am asking
For it is not much
It’s just a little death
And end of this little life
of a boy who seems
so empty inside
