Help planning July trip!

I am planning a week trip to Washington. I plan on flying into Seattle from Detroit, but I am overwhelmed how to handle Olympic Park and where to stay and the best route. A lot of people recommend breaking up the trip since the park is so huge, but I don’t know how or anything about it. I do enjoy biking and kayaking, but I don’t have to do them on this trip.
