I've been upgrading my setup recently and ran into a problem I didn't expect: finding a KVM that actually works well for triple-monitor gaming.

On paper, there are plenty of KVM switches out there. But once you start looking for something that can handle multiple displays, high refresh rates, gaming peripherals, and a gaming PC alongside a work laptop or second computer, the options narrow down pretty quickly.

Most of the discussions I found focused on office use cases, while many gaming-focused reviews only covered dual-monitor setups. For triple-monitor users, there wasn't a lot of detailed information about real-world performance, compatibility, or what compromises you might have to make.

After spending quite a bit of time researching and testing different solutions, I decided to document what I learned and put together a detailed review. I cover things like monitor support, refresh rates, switching experience, cable management, everyday usability, and who I think this type of setup actually makes sense for.

If you're considering a triple-monitor gaming/work setup, you might find it useful:

For those already using a KVM, what was the biggest challenge when building your setup? Did you find a solution that worked well, or are you still manually switching monitor inputs and peripherals?

Why is it still so hard to find a good KVM for triple-monitor gaming?
