I’m tryna start making, what materials should I get and what do I need?

Pretty much the title… but I see a lot of things that aren’t needed but are more recommended, like clips. can yall give me both recommendations a needs? And (if possible) places to buy? Also I want tips to make it look very gender- neutral, please and thank you!
