A rant

I live in Michigan. I was born in 2001. I love the red wings. Always will, but i never got to cherish the glory days of the team. All I know is pain and agony. Back when the wings won it in 2008? I was 7 years old and didn’t care about hockey.

When i was in my early teens, I really began to love hockey. I rooted for my wings, and they let me down. Over and over and over again. I was really about to give up on the sport of hockey.

Then the knights became a team. I decided right away, this is my new team. The team I root for, the team I support, the team I love.

In 2017, I adopted the knights as my new team. I still root for my red wings, but also the knights. Mostly the knights.

Ever since then, I’m absolutely all in for this team. Always. Just wanted to make this post for all the other fans who are similar to me.

Let’s beat the hurricanes and win another cup!!!!
